My phone is now more powerful than my first two laptops were as well as both our desktop computers, combined. We live in a period where phones have octocore processors and 2gb of RAM. This is the power of competition and innovation because you simply don’t find this quickly a movement in the computer market.
PC’s took years before they moved from dual to quad core and we still haven’t gotten octocore on all PC’s. Cell phones? One year we have 1ghz, later that year dual core. Next year, dual core 1ghz. Next year, 1gb ram and dual core. Next year quad core. Next year 2gb RAM. Next year octo core. It is insane how quickly science can move when companies are all fighting such a brutal battle of which phone you have in your pockets.
